Depart Sydney on QF179 at 9.30am arrive Norfolk Island at 1.10pm

Tuesday 01st February

8.30am – Half Day Island Tour

Orientation tour of the island – visit historic Kingston, Cascade, Longridge and much more

Wednesday 02nd February

Time TBA am – Colleen McCullough Home Tour (Possible split group subject to final numbers)

Colleen McCullough, world-renowned author of 24 books called Norfolk Island home for almost 36 years.  She and husband, Norfolk Islander, Ric Robinson, created a luxurious hideaway and maintained their privacy to ensure that Colleen had the perfect environment for her writing. Some of her most powerful titles were created in this much-loved sanctuary. Her beloved property “Out Yenna” is now open exclusively to Baunti Escapes customers. Be escorted through her magnificent home and view Ric and Colleen’s priceless collection of artefacts gathered on their travels all over the world.  This is a glimpse into the life of a modern-day literary icon.  If you have read her amazing books, you will love the experience of sharing the world of Colleen McCullough, author of “Tim”, “The Thornbirds” and “Morgan’s Run”.

 6.00 p.m.- Progressive Dinner

Thursday 03rd February

8.30am – Over the Cattletops

Travel to Anson Bay to visit a small hobby farm, which has been instrumental in
improving the local livestock industry. Close by see a demonstration at Norfolk’s major pottery and browse at the Cottage pottery shop. After a delicious morning tea at a scenic location, visit a beautiful private & commercial garden that supplies our local florists with stock. Visit one of the world’s largest Banyan trees.


1.00 pm- 1.00pm – Farm & Industry Tour

Go behind tourism and see a selection of local industries – market gardening, pig farming, manufacturing soft drinks and liqueurs, aquaponics, a state-of-the-art Kentia palm nursery that exports to Europe, a boutique sheep farm.


6.00 pm– 3 Course Roast Carvery Dinner at South Pacific Hotel


8.15 pm- Sound & Light Show

Nightfall at Kingston brings a different mood to the convict settlement.  The stillness and the stars are there      just as they were before mankind arrived in 1788.  However, with dramatic use of the real-life sounds, theatrical lighting and costumed actors, the stillness is broken as Pinetree Tours take you through the horrifying decades of Norfolk Island’s convict era

Friday 04th February

Time TBA-Christians Glass Bottom Boat Tour

Educational & fun tour of the 2nd most southern coral lagoon in the world aboard electric solar powered glass bottom boat “Mauatua”. Your guide is Don who is a 7th generation descendant of HMAS Bounty. Beautiful marine life abounds in this eco system that only takes 1 minute to start viewing. The trip takes approx. 1 hour. Boarding the boat is simple, our trailers convert to a small jetty right on the beach so no wet shoes


5.45pm – Night as a Convict

Dress as a convict and join in with the Commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing and dancing.


Saturday 05th February

8.30 am – Norfolk Indulgence Tour

We start the Indulgence Tour on the south-eastern side of Norfolk Island, at Ball       Bay – just another stunning bay with magnificent ocean views! Here you will learn all about how we get fuel ashore, as this is where our supply is unloaded. We then move on to Steeles Point, to enjoy the sheltered valleys behind the coastal cliffs. You may even spot a White Fairy Tern nesting in the forest! From here, we head to the Captain Cook Monument, a scenic lookout where you will stand at the spot on the northern coast where Captain James Cook and his officers landed in 1774. It has some of the best sea views on the Island, with offshore rock formations like Bird Rock and Elephant Rock. We will finish the day the way all fantastic days should end – with wine, cheese & crackers on Mount Pitt. The Lookout gives a 360° view of the whole island, so it will be a picnic to remember!


1.00pm – Convict Settlement Tour

Join us on an ‘In Depth’ tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston.  Walk through the cemetery & hear the history of the interesting convict & colonial headstones, hear stories of the houses along Quality Row.  Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill.  Afternoon tea included


6.15pm – Ghost Tour & Dinner

Dinner and Lantern Walk. Listen to tales and stories that will delight you, make you sad and through it all, send shivers down your spine! Includes dinner in historic Kingston and a lantern walk through the ruins.


Sunday 06th February

Time TBA – Entry into Cyclorama (Possible split group subject to final numbers)

Enjoy the incredible experience of the Cyclorama….the stunning and realistic 360° artwork which is constantly impressing visitors. Discover how the world’s most famous mutiny created the Pitcairn and Norfolk communities

6.15pm – 2 Course Dinner at Hilli Restaurant

You will be transferred from the South Pacific Resort to the airport by Pinetree Tours
